Hello, Reflecting

Hey 2019!

Well, kinda.

It’s the 9th day of 2019 BUT HEY ANYWAY.

I’ve been trying to force myself into productivity but being as I just hit my 3rd trimester with this pregnancy… I’m constantly just tired. Which is no good cause this year is gonna be BUSY. And the weeks left until Baby Lo gets here? B U S Y.

So I need to get my ass in gear!

July so-far-recap

I noticed I missed a few weeks of recap posts, whoops!

Between finishing up packing, dealing with my shit ass apartment manager, moving, unpacking and settling in… I guess I just, dunno. Haven’t been keeping up. It’s sort of hard to believe I’ve been in my new apartment for over a week now! I absolutely love it here! So much more than my previous place. I literally feel like I’m living in some super fancy hotel resort. I mean come on, there’s a lazy river at my pool WHICH I CAN SEE FROM MY BEDROOM AND BALCONY by the way!

I can’t tell if this apartment is smaller, bigger or just about the same size as my previous place. I feel like the bedroom MIGHT be smaller but it’s still a big amount of space. I love how spacious the kitchen is and how much pantry space I have. I also love how big the bathroom is. I just don’t like that my washer and dryer is IN my closet as it takes up SOME space but… I’ll figure out how to work around it. But the tub and the shower? Oh goodness, I love it all.

Hello, Recap, Reflecting

Goodbye 2017

IMG_5599

If I had to rate 2017 on a scale it would probably be a 9/10. Overall, it was a pretty great year and it was one of the best years I’ve had in a really really long time.

I’ve gathered almost 80 photos for this post, but I’ll try to cut that down as much as I can. Though as I’ve said before, this blog is primarily used as an archive for myself 🙂

Hello

Weekly Recap; July 31st – Aug 5th

I’M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!

I feel like I’ve been gone forever! And I’ve been here in Texas for almost a month! Whew, took forever to get my internet back due to… issues with a previous account. I guess I should do a recap of moving but holy hell that would be a long entry. SOME DAY! SOON!

For now let’s just talk about his passed week.

Hello

Weekly Recap; for pretty much June

Uhm, hai.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a weekly recap. Mostly because nothing really interesting happened besides a whole lot of bullshit, stress, packing and trying to figure shit out. I was hoping to make a documented vlog and blog series of the moving process and packing process but then I figured I’m setting myself up for people to see how laggy I can be and like I said I was going through a bunch of bullshit and stress that were making me sick and giving me migraines so half the time I wasn’t really in the mood to even talk.

Which sucks.

I should stop letting other people and their crap bother or impact me and my energy simply because they’re not worth my time or energy.

You live and learn. And build walls. Lots of walls. And never let anyone in. Ever.

Hello

The Moving Chronicles | From FL to TX

This is stressing me out. So I figured, why not make a document it. Cause you know me… I like to document everything.

I’ve never moved from state to state that required a moving company and furniture. The last time I moved from CA to FL and back… and back again I had 3 pieces of luggage and that was it. So the move wasn’t that stressful or hard. I mean it was but in different ways. That didn’t cost me over a grand to do.

But this time I have furniture, stuff, important documents and a cat. All of which I need to get from FL to TX. Granted it’s not across the country but it is still proving to be a bit pricey.

My roommate leaves at the end of the month and I found this service on Amazon. As far as I know she hasn’t really ever cleaned/deep cleaned her room or bathroom so I figure I’d use it for when she leaves and they’ll fix everything up. I’ve always been a huge fan of Amazon services since like 2006 so yeah. And it releases some of the stress of me trying to figure out how to pack, clean, sort everything, take care of Sophie and alla that.

I’m just trying to find ways to make this move and process as stress free as I can.
