Hello, Recap

Weekly Recap; March 4th – March 10th

Welp, I got most of the cleaning done this week that I was aiming for. There’s still some stuff left to do but the desk, kitchen and my bookshelves are done. Granted I want to move around some more stuff around my desk but I just don’t know what or to where. So for now, it’s done.

Buuuut I gotta wait until next week to get my desktop. So, whomp.

Candy Review; White Cheesecake M&M’s

IMG_9031

These I actually found last year (2017) and never got the chance to review them — I really hate when that happens.

M&M’s along with Oreo and Lay’s have been all over the let’s see what fucked up flavors we can create next! Hype train it seems like over the last few years. At first I was LIVING for these over the top crazy flavors but now… everything is kind of just starting to taste the same *insert shrugging emoji here*.

And that’s what sort of happened in this case!

When it comes to M&M’s there’s only so much flavor you can pack into a tiny dot of chocolate covered in very very delicate and light candy shell. Well I mean there’s A LOT you can pack into there (Cadbury Eggs anyone?) but it seems when it comes to M&M’s, it sort of just falls short.

Majority of their seasonal flavors I admit don’t even taste like what they’re suppose to taste like. It’s like you get this light hint but most of the time you’re still punched with the usual milk chocolate flavor.

White Cheesecake on the inside was white, so that’s a good start. But it didn’t at all taste like cheesecake. It tasted creamy and sweet but it to me just tasted like a slightly sweeter version of white chocolate. Which there’s nothing wrong with that — if you like white chocolate. But even as a person who loves white chocolate throwing a handful in your mouth to ‘see what happens’ isn’t a good idea. It’s like this artificial sweet overload!

While these pretty colored candies are fun to photograph, they weren’t that fun to eat.

Recap

Weekly Recap; Jan 28th – Feb 3rd

One month down… did I accomplish all that I wanted this month? Sorta.

I’m starting to get the hang of things and getting back into the swing of things which regardless of what I did and didn’t get done is still a huge step for me, I’m starting to feel a little less overwhelmed with the idea of updating several instagrams and blogs and slowly, SLOWLY, I’m starting to feel like the old me. I also managed to read the 3 books I needed to read within the month to stay on track with my Goodreads goal. Which is great.

October 2017 Reading Challenge

IMG_0380

Over the last few years I’ve set a reading challenge for myself in October — sometimes this extends to September or December but it’s always always been in October. I dedicate this month to read all the “scarier” books I pushed off the rest of the year. And normally I would look forward to this challenge but this year I live alone so reading scary books is a bit of MORE than JUST a challenge for me, especially with my anxiety acting up and making me see things that aren’t there (which it tends to do when I get really stressed out — I just cant figure out the trigger for it this time and it’s driving me nuts).

If you’d like to see the covers to the books I’m mentioning you can check out my Amazon list of it [ H E R E ] as I’m too lazy to figure out a format for these book covers in this entry though I would love to do it, if I could figure it out. Perhaps I’ll edit this entry later and play around with that. Or not. Who knows. But for now you get just a basic list.

Any titles I come across to add to the list that isn’t on this list can be found on the Amazon list. In addition I have 2 1/2 re-reads I try to do every year of my 2 favorite passed challenge reads!
