40 Before 40

I know everyone has their 30 before 30 lists, but I’m going to be realistic. I won’t graduate college until I’m 29 (hopefully that’s the latest) and even though that really bothers me, I’m trying to look on the bright side. I hope my life starts the way I want it at 30.

TRAVEL

  • Spend a week in Paris (+ go to Disneyland Paris & see The Emerald City on Storybook Ride)
  • Eat my way through Manhattan/NYC
  • Spend a week in Italy
  • Visit London
  • Spend a week in the Philippines
  • Visit Hawaii
  • Visit Seattle, Washington
  • Visit Alaska
  • Drive through Southern California
  • Take a Disney cruise
  • Attend BEA (Book Expo America) or ALA
  • Attend D23 expo
  • Attend a candy expo

LEARNING

  • Learn French
  • Learn Spanish (at some point, this may be helpful)
  • Touch up on Tagalog & Cebuano
  • Learn to make WordPress theme’s
  • Learn CSS
  • Really learn Photoshop
  • Learn how to use Adobe Premier
  • Learn how to crochet cute plushies
  • Learn how to cook
  • Learn how to swim

CREATING

  • Make mini witch hats
  • Make mini top hats
  • Make cake pops
  • Make Marshmallows
  • Create a unique cupcake flavor. That works.

HEALTH

  • Drink more water (this is seriously a struggle for me)
  • Cut down on the soda (let’s be realistic)
  • Eat more greens and fruits
  • Manage to run a mile in 10 mins
  • Eat healthy
  • Get an MRI

JUST BECAUSE

  • Publish a book
  • Stop hoarding
  • Get through a whole day without worrying about OCD
  • End up on Flickr Explore
  • Own my own cozy home
  • Swim in an infinity pool
  • Throw an adorable themed party
  • Pay off my debt
  • Get a hidden Mickey tattoo
  • Get my hidden anchor tattoo
  • Go Vegan for a week
  • Take a dancing class
  • Audition for Wicked (and don’t get sad if you get cut)
  • Catch the attention of a foodie magazine
  • Hit 100k+ followers on Instagram
  • Build a substantial YouTube following
